Jean Luc Dubois (Arkema) will make a presentation at the « Plastic Recycling Technology” conference in Vienna, and he will present what Process Intensification can mean for PMMA depolymerization. Meet him at this occasion, and learn more about MMAtwo. Some products made from regenerated MMA will be displayed. https://www.ami.international/Events/Resources/Programme/Plastics_recycling_tech_EU21_Brochure.pdf
Jean Luc Dubois (Arkema) will talk about “MMATWO: CHEMICAL RECYCLING TECHNOLOGY FOR END-OF-LIFE PMMA WASTES” For more information please click here

Back on track! The MMAtwo consortium continues to put it’s innovative PMMA recycling technology to the test, benefitting from the improvements that were made over the last months. In this 4th trial campaign we are producing every day as much as we previously used to produce in an entire week! Thereby proving not only MMAtwo’s…
MMAtwo is part of the 6 finalists for the award “Renewable Material of the Year 2021”. MMAtwo has been selected between 36 innovative and excellent submissions from all over the world. The six nominees convinced the advisory board with brand-new applications that aim to avoid or substitute fossil-based virgin materials.
Another successful campaign: the MMAtwo Consortium managed to run a full week of depolymerization trials in Düsseldorf at small industrial scale (equivalent to approximately 1000 tons/yr capacity) using various PMMA wastes as feedstock to produce high quality rMMA. Among the wastes, all processed using MMAtwo technology, were End-of-Life PMMA WEEE waste and PMMA composite waste…
The MMAtwo consortium is pleased to announce the MMAtwo virtual workshop on polymer recycling which will be held on September 15, 2020 via Microsoft Teams. The agenda for the workshop is available here. Registration is open for all stakeholders from both industry and academia via the link provided in the invitation. Attendance is free of…
Last June 16th, 2020, the MMAtwo consortium completed the first 2 days of pilot tests on PMMA depolymerization at Japan Steel Works Europe (JSW), with partners from Heathland, Arkema and Process Design center (PDC). Members from Japan Steel Works Europe (JSW), Heathland, Arkema and Process Design center (PDC).
The MMAtwo team has recently been active at conferences to seek cooperation with stakeholders, explore synergies and inform parties within the industry on its activities and progress.
Jean-Luc Dubois discussed with Katherine Sale (ICIS News) about the opportunity and challenge of recycling polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA).
